The Toledo Stingers topped the Hollywood Shredders, 7-3, in United States Premier League action at Pacesetter Park. The standout performance belonged to Toledo pitcher and Thornwood, New York, native Puhi Paselio. By defeating Hollywood, the 4th-place Stingers improved to 49-41.

In the bottom of the first inning, first baseman Hsiao-lou Rui had a bases-clearing double for Toledo. It was his 15th double of the season and put the Stingers on top, 4-2.

"Feels good to get the job done," Rui said after the game.
