Gulf Coast Turbeaus starter Steve Calhoun had all his pitches working at The Igloo. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 10-1 Gulf Coast win over the Billings Polar Bears. The Turbeaus have a one-game lead in the Silver AA.

The Turbeaus got a big hit from catcher TeiTetua Kalepa. Facing Billings pitcher César Ramos in the top of the seventh, Kalepa pounded a 3-run home run to center. His 9th home run of the season put the Turbeaus ahead, 8-0.

Said losing manager Justin Broadfoot: "Give the Turbeaus credit. They took advantage of our mistakes."
