A 5-RBI performance from first baseman José Mondragon, who is tied for 4th in the PL in bases on balls with 46, led the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids to a win over the Toronto Thunder, 10-4. The 6th-place Rainbow Mermaids have won 4 in a row.

Northern Virginia used the timely hitting of Garry Park to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Rainbow Mermaids ahead, 4-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"The vibe's good," said Northern Virginia manager David Lister. "We've got to keep it going."
