The Ithaca Fighting Imps defeated the Crescent City Krewe, 4-3, at Field of the Krewe. Ithaca was led by 23-year old second baseman Nacho Rodríguez, who went 2 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The winner in relief was Matt Dougherty. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. Nick Watson nailed down his 1st save.
The game turned with no one out in the top of the fourth when Rodríguez hit a 2-run home run. It thrust the Fighting Imps into the lead, 3-1.
