PAA Selects Romero August's Top Starter

Last month was a very good one for Miguel Romero of Crescent City. So good that he has been picked as the Pitcher of the Month in the USPL Double A.
Romero throttled league hitters the entire month, completing August with an impressive 5-0 mark and a 0.50 ERA in 5 starts with 35 strikeouts in 36.1 innings.
On the season, Romero has a 8-7 record with a 3.48 ERA.

Great August Gets Loudermilk PAA Best Hitter Award

Rich Loudermilk made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the USPL Double A this past month.
The Vancouver Vipers second baseman shined through the month of August and has won the Batter of the Month award.
The 24-year-old hit .329 with 9 home runs, 21 RBIs and 20 runs scored.
For the year, Loudermilk is batting .281 with 33 home runs.

The Math Says - Pierogis Out of Playoffs

The efforts of the Squirrel Hill Pierogis weren't consistent enough this season to have any real shot at making the playoffs. And now they have been officially and mathematically eliminated from the postseason chase.
