PAA News: Regular Season ends

Another season has come to pass and "to the winners go the spoils" -- the lucky ones will be headed for the playoffs in a few days and a chance to win the USPL Double A title in the PL AA Championship. The envious losers, however, will suffer a long and somber offseason, wondering where it all went wrong and trying to figure out how to do it right.

Ithaca Captures Wild Card

They won't go into the USPL Double A playoffs as odds-on favorites, but the
Ithaca Fighting Imps still like their chances after capturing a wild card playoff berth.
"We feel good. We obviously wanted to win the Premier AA, but we still feel we have what it takes to make a run here," said first baseman Jerry Knight. "If we can win this thing, no one's going to care that we didn't win the division."
The club will be vying for its 6th USPL Double A championship.
