Vancouver Vipers starter Juan Ríos was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Crescent City Krewe, 4-3. Sean Ellis earned save number 1 this season. With the loss, Crescent City sinks to 0-2.
A crucial at-bat came with the bases empty and no one out in the top of the eighth inning. That's when first baseman Jorge Hernández, who is rated as the 92nd best prospect by BNN, hit a triple. The Vipers went on to win.
"I just tried to make good contact," said Hernández.
