|
Cornell Rogers, who is tied for 6th in the PL in wins with 8, was locked in. The right-hander led the Seattle Rocketeers to a 5-3 win against the Las Vegas Flamingos at The Strip. José Correa collected his 13th save. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for Seattle.
Seattle used the timely hitting of McFlurry Beck to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Rocketeers on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Nice to keep our winning streak intact," said Rogers.
