Vancouver Vipers starter Jesús Bojórquez pitched a strong game against the Ithaca Fighting Imps at Vipers Ballpark, leading the Vipers to victory, 6-4. Len Johnson earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. Floyd Seymour nailed down his 2nd save.

Catcher Scott Mayes made an impact for Vancouver, when he swatted a 2-run double off Jasper Pérez in the bottom of the fourth. For the contest, Mayes was 2-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.

"It's about putting our team in the best position to win ballgames," said Bojórquez.
