The Toledo Saboteurs wasted an inspired, 5.1-inning effort from starter Lonnie Burton, falling, 2-1, to the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles in 10 innings at Mercer Island Grounds. At 7-0, the Screaming Eagles have played well so far.

The Screaming Eagles got a clutch hit from designated hitter Xue-liang Ci. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to left-center, to win the game for the Screaming Eagles.

"I like how we're playing right now," said Ci.
