The Hollywood Shredders beat the Buffalo White Walkers, 10-5, at The Hollywood Bowl. The win was due in part to left fielder Miguel Núñez, who went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. The 8th-place Shredders sport a record of 40-51.

In the bottom of the fifth, Hollywood second baseman Júlio Salinas had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Salinas stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 7-5, Hollywood. For the game, he was 2 for 4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Hollywood skipper TJ Reynolds.
