Thompson Hits 2 home runs in Torch Win
A 6-RBI performance from center fielder Josh Thompson led the Mancelona Torch to a win over the Washington Generals, 9-5. The win gives Mancelona a record of 1-4.

In the bottom of the eighth, the Torch grabbed the lead when Thompson hit his 2nd home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Rafael Aragón made it 9-5, Mancelona.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Thompson.
