The Baltimore Bullets defeated the Mexico City Blue Demons, 13-5, in part because of catcher Arturo Prado. Prado went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Bullets. Teika Fukuda earned the win for Baltimore. He lasted 6 innings, allowing 5 runs on 9 hits, while striking out 6. With the win, he raised his record to 5-9. The win puts Baltimore at 36-55.

The Bullets got a big hit from first baseman Francis O'Farrell. Facing Mexico City pitcher Caleb Bullock in the top of the fifth, O'Farrell pounded a 2-run double to right-center. His 11th double of the season put the Bullets ahead, 6-2.

"Every manager loves to see an offensive outburst from his team," said Baltimore skipper Chris Schubert.
