Ithaca had no answer for Mercer Island Screaming Eagles hurler Cristóbal Félix, who overwhelmed Fighting Imps hitters as the Screaming Eagles coasted to victory, 7-1. Félix, now 1-0, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 7, walking 3, and allowing 1 run. Paul Jefferson picked up the save, his 1st.

Mercer Island took the lead, 7-1, on Nari Crapanzano's 1st home run of the season. The grand slam home run came off Ithaca pitcher Allen Wagner in the top of the ninth.
