Krewe Earn Win with Late Rally

The Crescent City Krewe had to overcome a fine effort from Nuevo Mexico pitcher David O'Halloran to win, 2-1, at Field of the Krewe. O'Halloran went 8 innings and allowed 2 runs. Jeff Fisher nailed down his 2nd save. The defeat makes Nuevo Mexico 5-4.
Bill Barnes drove in one run for Crescent City. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the sixth inning, Barnes had a clutch at-bat. Facing Nuevo Mexico hurler David O'Halloran, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Krewe a 1-0 lead.
"Tough loss," said Nuevo Mexico manager Andrés Ventura. "The kind that burns a little inside."
