Chesapeake left fielder Tommy O'Farrell had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the St. Petersburg Thunder, 11-3. The win has Chesapeake at 6-3.

Tied up with the Thunder in the bottom of the fifth inning, the Cangrejos Fantasmas got a boost from designated hitter Sam López. With the bases loaded, López saw a 2-0 fastball from José Bustamante and hit a 2-run single to break the stalemate and put Chesapeake on top, 5-3.

"Every manager loves to see an offensive outburst from his team," said Chesapeake skipper John Moore.
