Mariachis Win at Mercer Island, 5-2

The Nuevo Mexico Mariachis beat the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 5-2, at Mercer Island Grounds. Nuevo Mexico third baseman Lawrence Boone had an outstanding performance. He went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs. Samuel Morris collected save number 5. Mercer Island is 3-7 after the loss.
Nuevo Mexico took control in the top of the sixth. With one out and a runner on 2nd, John Holland hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Mariachis.
