Chesapeake and Ithaca duked it out and the Cangrejos Fantasmas came out victorious.

The Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas topped the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 5-2, in USPL Double A action at Imps Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Chesapeake pitcher Tom Ferguson. Picking up his 4th save was 23-year old right-handed pitcher Howard Rodríguez.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Alan Peck? The 22-year old center fielder Peck stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put Chesapeake up, 5-2. For the game, he was 3 for 5, including 1 double and 2 singles.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Ferguson told the Chesapeake Herald.

The loss has the Fighting Imps at 5-5.
