Crescent City used a superb performance from starting pitcher George Johnston to down the Gwinnett Guinea Pigs, 5-0. The Guinea Pigs drop to 4-8, as their fitful start to the 2062 campaign continues.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Joe Steward? The Crescent City catcher had a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Krewe on top, 2-0. For the game, Steward had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"George had good arm action, good stuff," said Crescent City manager Jack Morton.
