Fighting Imps Topple Atoms, 11-4
The Ithaca Fighting Imps defeated the Bethesda Atoms, 11-4, in USPL Double A action at Imps Park. Ithaca pitcher Adam Walker had a standout performance. The winning pitcher was Walker, now 2-0. He tossed 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 10. Ithaca has a record of 4-8.

Javier Blanco made an early impact for Ithaca when he stroked his 1st home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which came with two out in the bottom of the second, put the Fighting Imps on top, 8-0.

"I liked his command," said Ithaca manager Albert Pérez. "Adam was throwing strikes."
