Rocky Mountain Slaps 2-1 Loss on Alameda
|
The Rocky Mountain Vibes got a magnificent performance from pitcher Henry Fletcher, who muffled the Alameda offense en route to a tight, 2-1 Vibes win at Bellevue Field. Fletcher got the win, improving to 2-0. He gave up 5 hits and walked 3 over 8 innings. He allowed 1 run. Rocky Mountain has a mark of 4-2 after the win.
The Vibes got a big at-bat from second baseman Hawk Tuahsson, who in the bottom of the sixth hit a solo home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Vibes on top, 1-0.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Fletcher.
