Mariachis fans were sent into a frenzy with a walk-off win.

The Nuevo Mexico Mariachis picked up a win at Mariachi Band Shell, knocking off the Marquette Miners, 6-5. Starting pitcher John Schneider played a key role in the triumph. Samuel Morris picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Francis Davis was tagged with the loss.

Donnie MacKim played the role of hero for Nuevo Mexico. In the bottom of the 11th, he launched a 2-run home run off Francis Davis to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was the decisive blow.

"The crowd was raucous," said Schneider.

Now 10-3, the 2062 Mariachis have been phenomenal so far.
