Olympia left fielder António Torres had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 5-2. The loss drops the Screaming Eagles to 11-2.

Torres had a game-changing triple in the bottom of the sixth. On a first pitch fastball from Rick Burnett, he banged a run-scoring triple to right-center, giving the Ogres a 2-1 lead. It was the 1st triple of the year for Torres.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Olympia manager Dale O'Sullivan.
