The Minnesota Loons locked up a win at The Ogre Den, knocking off the Olympia Ogres, 6-3. On the mound for Minnesota was right-hander Joe Thomas. He played a major role in the triumph. Getting the save was Matt Dougherty, his 2nd. Olympia drops to 4-9.

Minnesota used a well-timed hit by Christian Gray to capture the win. The right fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Loons ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Solid performance from our side," said Loons manager Eddie O'Bryan.
