Atoms Snatch Late-Game, 3-2 Win
The Bethesda Atoms had to overcome a good performance from Mercer Island pitcher Jeremy Bush to claim a 3-2 win at Atoms Field. Bush went 7 innings and allowed no runs. The Screaming Eagles, now 3-10, continue their sluggish start.

Bethesda got a game-changing hit from Blake Murray. The second baseman blasted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a winner.

"This place was electric at the end," Murray said.
