In a tight contest at The Ogre Den, the Vancouver Vipers edged the Olympia Ogres by the score of 6-5. Vancouver center fielder Oliver Garden, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Olympia is now 5-9.

Vancouver used the timely hitting of Steven Dean to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Vipers on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"This is not a one-man show," said Garden. "A lot of the guys stepped up."
