Krewe Lose, 4-2, as Fighting Imps Rally
The Ithaca Fighting Imps faced a tough opponent in Crescent City pitcher George Johnston, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Field of the Krewe by a final score of 4-2. Johnston went 5.2 innings and allowed 1 run. Yuk Yan got the save, the 3rd for him this season. Crescent City now has a record of 7-7.

This game was not decided until late. With one out in the top of the ninth, Jerry Knight grounded out, driving in 1 run. The Fighting Imps took the lead, 3-2.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Crescent City skipper Jack Morton, "and it cost us."
