The Nuevo Mexico Mariachis got great pitching from 24-year old right-handed pitcher David O'Halloran, allowing them to bump off the Providence Pilgrims, 2-1. Cristián Hernández earned his 3rd save, after closing out the game. Now 2-13, the 2058 Pilgrims have been dreadful.

O'Halloran was dominant for Nuevo Mexico. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits, while racking up 9 strikeouts. He threw 101 pitches over 8 innings in the contest.

"Main thing is I want the team to win," O'Halloran told a reporter after the game. "Just have to go out there, take care of my job, and give my team a chance to win."
