Rivas Stars in 5-1 Krewe Win
The timely hitting of Luis Antonio Rivas helped the Crescent City Krewe down the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas, 5-1. Rivas was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 4 for the Krewe. Crescent City reliever Ronald Moore got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Dale Bernard was tagged with the loss. The win puts Crescent City at 10-5.

Crescent City grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Rivas hit a grand slam home run off Bob Merendino. His 2nd home run of the season put the Krewe out in front, 5-1.
