Screaming Eagles Claim Late Win
The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles topped the Crescent City Krewe, 5-3, in USPL Double A action at Field of the Krewe. The game was highlighted by the performance of Mercer Island pitcher Fernando López. Crescent City falls to 7-8.

Mercer Island needed the clutch hitting of Jared Tomlinson to seal the deal. The center fielder swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Screaming Eagles on top, 5-3. For the game, Tomlinson had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
