Polar Bears Come Back Late to Top Krewe, 3-0
Billings took on Crescent City in front of a lively crowd.

Right-hander Mikilana Lokela mesmerized the Crescent City Krewe while leading the Billings Polar Bears to a 3-0 victory. The win belongs to Danny Reynolds in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Ki-moon Sin took the loss for Crescent City. Richard Kinmont earned the save for Billings, his 7th of the year.

Runs were scarce in this one. So, Michael Valentín's at-bat in the top of the ninth was vitally important. With one out, the Billings right fielder reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run, to give his team a 1-0 lead.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Valentín said after the game.

The Krewe fall to 6-11 and continue their lackluster start in 2055.
