In a low-scoring contest between the Toledo Stingers and the Toronto Thunder, Rodrigo García, who is tied for 2nd in the PL with a 2.67 ERA, proved to be the difference. The Toledo right-hander earned props for his performance in the 1-0 Stingers win. Sam Myers was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 20 of 22 save opportunities. The second-place Stingers hiked their record to 52-41.

The Thunder had trouble solving García, who surrendered no runs on 5 hits over 8 innings.
