Fighting Imps Rebuff Guinea Pigs, 4-3
With second baseman Nacho Rodríguez leading the charge, the Ithaca Fighting Imps defeated the Gwinnett Guinea Pigs, 4-3, at Imps Park. Rodríguez, who is tied for 5th in the PAA in triples with 1, went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Yuk Yan earned the save for Ithaca, his 4th of the year. Ithaca now has a record of 14-4.

Ithaca took a 4-2 lead on Rodríguez's 4th home run of the season. The solo home run, which he hit off Jeorge-ValJhong Aragon in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Ithaca to the win.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Gwinnett manager Cary Collins. "The effort was great."
