Fighting Imps Defeated, 4-2, After Arizona Rallies
|
David Jordan pitched well, but the Ithaca Fighting Imps still fell short, losing, 4-2, to the Arizona Javelina at Javelina Ballpark. Marko Tapaninen earned the save, his 4th. With the win, Arizona climbs to 8-11.
Arizona went up, 4-2, on Carlos MacKnight's 1st triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which MacKnight hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Ithaca pitcher David Jordan feeling irked.
After the game, Arizona manager Dino Moonglampers applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
