Screaming Eagles Come Up Short at Bethesda, 5-4
Dan Black was locked in. The right-hander led the Bethesda Atoms to a 5-4 win against the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles at Atoms Field. The Screaming Eagles drop to 9-10 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2063 season.

Bethesda took a 5-4 lead on Ramón Sánchez's 5th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Sánchez hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Mercer Island pitcher Jeremy Bush visibly frustrated.

"Dan kept his poise and got the job done," said Bethesda manager Amadeo Nardello. "He was outstanding."
