Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Vancouver Vipers and Philadelphia Liberty Academy.

Jorge Hernández left his imprint on the 6-3 Vancouver win against the Philadelphia Liberty Academy. Hernández, who is tied for 8th in the PAA with a .338 batting average, was 3-4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Sean Ellis locked down his 6th save.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Michael Woods? The Vancouver catcher had a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put the Vipers on top, 4-3. For the game, Woods had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Hernández.
