In a low-scoring contest between the Nuevo Mexico Mariachis and the Olympia Ogres, Gilberto Espinoza, who is tied for 4th in the PAA in strikeouts with 33, proved to be the difference. The Nuevo Mexico left-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-1 Mariachis win. The victory makes Nuevo Mexico 11-9, as the team seeks a return to the playoffs in 2058.
