The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements enjoyed themselves.

Mike McVeigh had a 3-RBI game, during Olympia's 7-5 triumph over the Gwinnett Guinea Pigs. McVeigh contributed 2 singles and 1 home run to the cause. The save went to Jeff Rodríguez, number 7 for him.

With Olympia leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Clyde Miller hit a 2-run single off Gwinnett pitcher Jeff Bean. It put the Ogres ahead 4-0.
