Bulls Get 5-3 Win Versus Rocky Mountain
|
Belleville parlayed a decent outing from starter Richie Ayala into a solid win over the Rocky Mountain Vibes. The final score was 5-3. Scot Dixon closed it out for Belleville, earning his 3rd save. The victory makes Belleville 5-3.
Belleville used the timely hitting of Brian Olsen to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Bulls on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Richie -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Bulls manager Rafael Avelar. "He was the key to us winning."
