Niagara Falls beat Caldwell at Waterfall Park, escaping with a 5-4 win. The win in large part was due to center fielder John Witt. He went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The save went to Rob Small, number 1 for him. Caldwell now has a record of 2-6.

Niagara Falls took a 5-4 lead on Félix Padilla's 2nd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Padilla hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Caldwell pitcher Hisanobu Harada visibly frustrated.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Padilla.
