Mercer Island Screaming Eagles starter Rick Burnett hurled his team past the Vancouver Vipers, 3-2. Paul Jefferson notched his 2nd save of the season. The Screaming Eagles improved to 12-11.

The Vipers had their hands full with Burnett, who overpowered Vancouver hitters while racking up 13 strikeouts.
