Moore Leads Krewe to Win
|
Led by Wilber Moore, the Crescent City Krewe downed the Nuevo Mexico Mariachis, 9-3. Moore went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for the Krewe. Paikea Hotu, the winning pitcher, improved to 3-1. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 6 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 3. After today's action, Crescent City sits at 12-12, while Nuevo Mexico falls to 12-12.
Crescent City took the lead on Moore's 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came against Daniel Orr in the top of the sixth, made the score 5-3, Crescent City.
