A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Olympia Ogres and Vancouver Vipers.

The Olympia Ogres picked up a win at Vipers Ballpark, topping the Vancouver Vipers, 5-2. On the mound for Olympia was right-hander Stanley Werner. He played a principal role in the triumph. Werner, the winner, moves to 3-2. He threw 7.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 1 walk.

Bruce Wood helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring single to give Olympia a 1-0 lead.
