Miners Collect 6-2 Win Over Krewe
The Crescent City Krewe went down to defeat to Marcus Thomas and his Marquette teammates. The final score was 6-2, in favor of the Miners. The winner was Bo Taylor in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Rich Griffin took the loss. Marquette is now 12-13.

Ryan Lowry came through with a big-time hit for Marquette. The shortstop smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to give his team the lead, 5-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"I liked his command," said Marquette manager Andrés Pérez. "Marcus was throwing strikes."
