Field of the Rawhides was the site for USPL Double A action featuring the Squirrel Hill Pierogis and Mercer Island Screaming Eagles.

The 10-2 Mercer Island win over Squirrel Hill was due largely to Ismael Carrillo. The Screaming Eagles center fielder was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Sixto Espinosa was credited with the save for Mercer Island, his 1st of the season.

The Screaming Eagles got an important contribution from first baseman Milo Hamilton, who in the top of the second hit a fastball into left-center for a 2-run double. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Screaming Eagles ahead, 5-0.

"I believe in our guys," said Mercer Island skipper Ricardo Vargas. "I like the energy they're playing with."

The winning streak has now reached 5 games for the Screaming Eagles.
