Chesapeake Wins 5-1 to Continue Red-Hot Start
The first-place Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas took on the Ithaca Fighting Imps in front of a spirited crowd.

Dale Bernard pitched a gem to lead Chesapeake to victory over the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 5-1. Chesapeake has an impressive 19-6 record.

Danny Belcher dealt the Fighting Imps a blow in the bottom of the fourth. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Chesapeake leading 2-0, Belcher hit a first pitch fastball for a 2-run single.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Belcher told the Chesapeake Observer.
