Starting pitcher Sam Frey pitched well enough to help the Gwinnett Guinea Pigs beat the Marquette Miners, 5-4. Frey, now 3-1, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 3, and allowing 1 run. The Guinea Pigs are now 9-18, while the Miners fall to 15-12.
