Cangrejos Fantasmas Snatch Late-Game, 5-4 Win
Chesapeake starter Howard Rodríguez pitched well against the Ithaca Fighting Imps at Ghost Crab Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-4, in 10 innings. David Adelabu, credited with the win in relief, is now 3-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. Chesapeake now has a record of 21-6 with the win.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Chesapeake. That's when 24-year old shortstop Bill Lawler hit a run-scoring double off Tony Hurtado to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"Howard was able to locate to both sides, up and down," said Chesapeake manager John Moore.
