Crescent City Gets 8-1 Win
Crescent City turned a good effort from starter Mike Nelson into a win over the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles at Mercer Island Grounds. The Krewe won the game, 8-1. With the win over Mercer Island, the Krewe improved to 14-14.

Crescent City used the hitting of Domingo Gómez to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the first inning to put the Krewe on top, 1-0. For the game, Gómez had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Mike throwing strikes, pounding the zone, that is exactly what you want to see," said Crescent City manager Jack Morton.
