Expos Squeeze Out Win in Pitching Duel
|
Yun Sha never let Belleville get something going. The Niagara Falls right-hander commanded his splitter in pitching the Expos to a 1-0 win. Sha picked up the win for Niagara Falls, going 6 innings. He gave up no runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. Belleville, with the loss, is 3-6.
Niagara Falls second baseman Daniel Roux landed a blow when he belted a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth. It was his 1st home run of the season. With it, the Expos took a 1-0 lead.
"Yun pounded the strike zone and made good pitches when he needed to," said Niagara Falls manager Ismael Barrios.
