Cook Powers Krewe to 9-2 Win
The Crescent City Krewe downed the Billings Polar Bears, 9-2. The hitting star was center fielder Artie Cook. Cook went 2 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for the Krewe. Rock DeVote got the win, improving to 4-1. He held the Polar Bears to 1 run on 2 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 8 and walking 2. Sylvain Maire picked up the save for Crescent City, his 2nd of the year.

José Hernández, who is tied for 2nd in the PAA with a .349 batting average, aided the Crescent City cause with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the bottom of the first. For the game, the designated hitter drew 1 walk in 5 plate appearances.
