Cangrejos Fantasmas Suffer One-Run Loss at Crescent City
|
Ronald McKenzie did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas from being beaten, 3-2, to the Crescent City Krewe at Field of the Krewe. McKenzie went 2 for 2 with 2 singles and 2 walks. Crescent City sits in third place in the Premier AA at 16-13.
Luis Solís dealt the Cangrejos Fantasmas a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with a runner on 3rd and Crescent City leading 2-1, Solís, who is rated as the 86th best prospect by BNN, hit a 0-2 sinker for a run-scoring single.
"Good teams find a way to win close games," Solís said.
