Pontiac got a terrific performance from pitcher José Sandoval, but it wasn't enough to beat the Matlacha Manatees. Matlacha won the Fuller Park contest, 1-0. Sandoval threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. The loss drops Pontiac to 6-3.

The Manatees got a big hit from designated hitter Zhang Huang. Facing Pontiac pitcher José Sandoval in the bottom of the fifth, Huang pounded a run-scoring double to right-center. His 2nd double of the season put the Manatees ahead, 1-0.

"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager John Moss.
