5-4 Win for Ithaca in Extras
|
The Ithaca Fighting Imps found a way to sneak past the Bethesda Atoms, 5-4, in 14 innings. Ithaca pitcher Jasper Pérez, for one, had a standout performance. The 9th-place Fighting Imps sport a record of 12-18.
The Fighting Imps got a clutch hit from first baseman Kidlat Pimentel. In the bottom of the 14th, he hit a run-scoring single to left-center, to win the game for the Fighting Imps.
"The crowd was juiced," said Pimentel.
