Screaming Eagles 3-2 Winners Versus Nuevo Mexico
|
The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles earned a close win over the Nuevo Mexico Mariachis, thanks in part to Jeremy Bush. The Mercer Island right-hander, who is tied for 10th in the PAA in innings pitched with 42.1, played a key role in the 3-2 victory. Bush yielded 2 runs over 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 9 hits, walked 2, and struck out 3. His record improves to 2-3. The defeat makes Nuevo Mexico 16-16.
Mercer Island used the hitting of Ahn Jin-ah to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Screaming Eagles on top, 3-1. For the game, Jin-ah had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
